Cashmere – Cashmere wool comes from goats with a precious, extremely fine fleece that allows them to survive in harsh natural environments, with cold, windy winters and scorching summers. For this reason, they develop a dense and soft undercoat of exceptionally thin fibers. Cashmere is renowned for its lightness and its outstanding thermal‑insulating properties.
Merino Wool – For selected products, Lordflex’s uses a special, highly prized, delicate, and soft wool: superwashed combed Merino wool. It is shorn only from the areas of the animal where the fleece is longest and softest.
Merino wool ensures excellent breathability, absorbing excess perspiration and moisture. It can retain a substantial amount of air within the upper layer of its fibers, and thanks to its richness in lanolin, it provides a beneficial and preventive action against rheumatic and muscular pain.
Wool – A natural animal fiber obtained from sheep fleece, characterized by excellent absorbent and insulating properties. Wool fibers can absorb moisture up to 33% of their weight without feeling wet to the touch. It is a natural thermoregulator that keeps body temperature stable in any season: in summer, it insulates from external heat, while in winter it retains warmth.
Wool also offers remarkable resistance to friction and wear. Lordflex’s uses certified Pure Virgin Wool that is sanitized, carded, and needled always first‑use and never regenerated.
