Legality Rating
consumer protection
The Legality Rating is a tool introduced by the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) to promote and incentivize companies to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with legality, transparency, and ethical responsibility.
The Legality Rating is an official recognition that certifies companies’ compliance with high legal and reputational standards based on:
- Absence of criminal convictions, regular contributions, compliance with anti-mafia regulations, etc.
- Adoption of organizational models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, use of payment traceability systems, internal codes of ethics, adherence to legality protocols, etc.
In short, the Legality Rating is a tool that incentivizes companies to operate according to principles that contribute to creating a fairer and more reliable market for the benefit of the end consumer.
