Natural beech
materials
All Lordflex’s technical supports are made exclusively from steamed natural beech wood, never from lower‑quality and lower‑performance woods such as fir or birch. Its unique properties ensure maximum load‑bearing capacity, dimensional stability, and structural consistency, as well as improved insulation from harmful magnetic fields. Steaming is a treatment applied to beech wood to achieve excellent flexibility and strength.
The bedframe structure is made from multilayer, unidirectional lamellar natural beech, designed to offer superior resistance to the strong stresses exerted on the side rails, thanks to the maximum cohesion of the wood fibers. This high density makes the structure sturdier, preventing bending and doubling the support capacity and durability compared to standard plywood.
The slats are made of curved, multilayer natural beech, pre‑tensioned to smoothly absorb and release significant static and dynamic pressure without sinking or deforming. The curvature and bonding of the beech layers ensure optimal elasticity and consistent resistance to body weight and movement throughout sleep.
