Traditional toppers, however, sit on top of the mattress, excessively increasing the height of the sleeping surface — sometimes making it difficult or uncomfortable to get into bed. In addition, toppers increase the mattress thickness, causing a mismatch between the mattress and headboard that negatively impacts the bed’s aesthetics and design. Moreover, adding a traditional topper requires the use of sheets suitable for thicker mattresses. The summer side, made of 3D Flat fabric without memory foam, is quilted with a special compact cotton padding that doesn’t wrap or compress the body, allowing ample air circulation to dissipate heat and ensure freshness during the summer season. In fact, for optimal breathability and to avoid sweating during the warmer months, it is always advisable to sleep on a memory-free surface and choose padding that doesn’t closely conform to the body.
